Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this site, and we want to hear when they can't.
01Our goal
Lumera Creative LLC uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA as the accessibility target for this site. That's a target we work toward, not a certification or a guarantee: nobody independent has audited the site, and we don't claim it's perfect.
02What we've built in
- Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a skip link at the top of every page.
- Pages use real headings, landmarks, labels and descriptive link text, and meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Text and controls are checked for contrast against their backgrounds, including on each project's color.
- Every screen recording has a pause and play button, and nothing plays with sound.
- The live concept viewer opens with focus on the viewer, closes with the Escape key or its Close live view button, and returns focus to the control that opened it.
- On touch screens, Previous and Next buttons step through the opening, the selected work and what we build one stage at a time, the same as a swipe or an arrow key. Pinch zoom stays on, and while you are zoomed in a sideways swipe moves the zoomed view.
- If your device asks for reduced motion, the sideways scrolling and scroll-driven movement are replaced by a plain stacked page, recordings don't start by themselves, and the final state of every effect is shown.
- The page works at 320 px wide and at 200% browser zoom without sideways scrolling, and in small or non-fullscreen windows.
- Without JavaScript, the pages still show their content, with still images in place of recordings.
03Known limitations
- On large screens, and on phones held upright, the opening and the project strip move sideways as you scroll. A reduced-motion setting, a phone held sideways or a small window gives you the stacked page instead.
- Text size follows the window width and doesn't follow the default font size set in a browser. Browser zoom works.
- The recordings are silent visual demonstrations of the concept studies. The text beside each one describes the work, and each study can be opened as a live site.
- Scroll it yourself shows a separate concept website inside a screen. Each study is its own site, and the studies we link to open as separate sites; they aren't covered by this statement and may not meet the same standard.
04Report a problem
If something on this site is hard or impossible to use, tell us at contact@lumeracreative.agency. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and, if you can, the device and assistive technology you use. We read every report and will reply.
05How we checked
We last reviewed the site on October 7, 2026. We used automated checks (axe-core, and our own browser tests in Chrome), keyboard-only navigation, focus and contrast checks, text-spacing and zoom checks, touch simulation, and a review of representative desktop, tablet, mobile and resized-browser layouts, from 320 px wide to 1440 px. We haven't yet tested the site with screen readers, in other browsers or on a range of physical devices, and it hasn't been reviewed by an independent auditor.
